Why didn't I grow up with a super-cute mama destined to become famous on the Food Network? Jamie and Bobby Deen, sons of Southern pile-on-the-butter-y'all TV chef Paula Deen, are getting their own show starting tomorrow. The freres Dean tell Juliette Rossant at Superchefblog.com that the Food Network honchos liked their vibe when the boys would drop by to banter on Mama's show, thus the new gig. Sheesh! I hang around my mom's kitchen like a tick too, but does anyone offer me my own show? Negative!
